A library is an important source of Knowledge for students in school. As it helps in improving habit of reading among students, we decided to develop a school Library called “Finar Pustakalay” at Chanakya Primary School. It was inaugurated by Shri Ratilal Borisagar and Shri Mansukh Salla on 14th September 2018.

Blood Donation Drive – 2018
Under the Blood Donation Drive, we have arranged Six Blood Donation camps at Aantroli, Finar Limited, Finar Foundation, Fangdi village, Vishal Engineering and Chanakya Primary school. Due to support of all the donors we have collected 470 units Blood.
Delhi Visit by Air..
The main objective was to arrange Air travel for the village students and to visit Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi. The tour was arranged for 17 students of 10 Government Primary School on 7th and 8th September. Students traveled to Delhi and returned back by flight for the first time.
Finar Vignanshala
This year we have created a “Finar Vignanshala” at Modasar Pay Center School having all standard equipment, apparatus, TLMs and Chemicals. We arranged an inauguration program of the Finar Vignanshala on 20th August 2018.
Toy Bank
Under the initiative called “Toy Bank” to support development of kids in underprivileged areas, a program was arranged to provide toys in the Anganvadi of Modasar, Vaghjipura, Khicha and Fangdi. Toys were distributed totally among 180 students.
Vidhya Aarambh
Vidya Aarambh is our effort to boost education. We provide basic schooling necessities to kids in villages. Stationary, bags and other required things are provided to the school kids in villages at the beginning of the academic year. In the June 2018, We conducted Vidhya Aarambh program in Seven Government Primary Schools and 400 students were benefited.
Workshop on Model Rocketry
With the support of “Vikram Sarabhai Community Science Center”, Finar Foundation conducted “MODEL ROCKETRY WORKSHOP” in 6 schools in March 2018. Teachers from Community Science Center taught the students about rockets and model rockets. Around 350 students enjoyed making their own rocket and launching it.
Magic or Logic
Finar Foundation has started an initiative called “Magic or Logic” to upgrade the understanding of fundamentals of science with experiments and activities. Dr. Megha Bhatt from SciTech Academics conducted sessions with innovative module of exposing children to science. Around students from around 7 schools were benefited.
English Learning
To improve command on English in students of Government Primary Schools, we have initiated a program supported by Ms. Sejal Shah. She conducted sessions on English learning in Sanathal Primary school and Fangdi Primary school.
Abhivyakti
To bring out the cultural values of students and to give a chance to perform, we arranged an Annual Day celebration of 14 schools under Changodar pay-center school on 15th March 2018. The event was named as “Abhivyakti” in which around 250 students participated and performed different dances of different states of India.
