Say No to Drugs
Finar Foundation decided to work for an initiative called ‘Fight Against Drugs’ and arranged a poster making competition among students of Ahmedabad city on the subject “Say No to Drugs and Yes to Life”. Under the initiative Foundation is supporting ‘Healthy Campus’ an effort by Narcotic Control Bureau and spreading awareness on Drugs in society.
Say No to Tobacco
It is an awareness program for people in rural areas having bad habits of Tobacco. We use to arrange programs in schools and villages. we also rallies and try to convince the next generation to do not follow the path of smoking and other bad habits.
Bikeathon
Finar Foundation supported an event called “Bike-A-Thon” with team of Health Campus and Narcotic Control Bureau(NCB) in July 2017. It was organized as an attempt to create awareness about the destructive effects of drugs.
The event was attended by prominent personalities like Shri Gautam Shah (Mayor, Ahmedabad), Shri Hari Om Gandhi (Zonal Director, NCB), Dr. G. P. Vadodaria (Principal, LDCE) and Ruzan Khambatta (Social Entrepreneur). Around 1000 bikers and the police force took out a bike rally in the city and gave away ‘THANK YOU CARD’ to the people for staying away from drugs.
Night Marathon
The event was an effort to spread awareness about the increasing drug abuse among the youth and the perils of Drug addiction in our society. It was arranged in alliance with High On Life Foundation, Narcotics Control Bureau, Suraksha Setu Society and Healthy Campus. hri Nitin Patel (Dy. CM, Gujarat), Smt. Bijal Patel (Mayor, Ahmedabad) and Shri Hari Om Gandhi (Zonal Director, NCB) were the chief guests of the event. More than 5000 people took part in the 5 km, 10 km and Free Run categories.
